Im "Lesesaal der Wünsche" haben BenützerInnen der Wienbibliothek die Möglichkeit aktiv die Digitalisierung mitzugestalten, sodass die Bestände der Wienbibliothek auch bei Covid-19-bedingt geschlossenen Räumlichkeiten nutzbar und online abrufbar sind. Die Wienbibliothek hat damit einen neuen Schritt in Richtung KundInnenservice und Partizipation im digitalen Raum gesetzt.

Kurzbeschreibung Englisch / Short Description

In the "Lesesaal der Wünsche" (Reading Room of Desires) the customers of the Vienna City Library have the option to actively support and help shape the digitization in order to use the library collections digitally even though the library is closed due to Covid-19 limitations. Thereby the Vienna City Library focuses on better customer services and participation in digital space.
