Recycling. Re-Use. Wiederverwerten statt entsorgen: In Villach gilt dies ab sofort auch für alten Asphalt. Die Stadt Villach hat Österreichs erste „Mobile Asphaltmischanlage“ in Betrieb genommen. In ihr werden alte Asphalt-Stücke bei 180 Grad vor Ort in frisches Straßenmaterial umgewandelt. Bis zu 1,5 Tonnen Asphalt können so täglich im Sinne der Nachhaltigkeit reaktiviert werden.

Kurzbeschreibung Englisch / Short Description

Recycling. Re-Use. Recycling instead of disposal: in Villach, this now also applies to old asphalt. The city of Villach has put Austria's first “mobile asphalt mixing plant” into operation. In it, old pieces of asphalt are converted into fresh road material on site at 180 degrees. Up to 1.5 tons of asphalt can be reactivated every day in the interests of sustainability.
